Your on the right track, The sound will improve and without the CAT it will be cooler. To run even cooler you will need to correct the fuel ratio with a tuning device. You'll get many opinions on what kind but the important thing is to eliminate the lean tuning condition it came with.

The top choices IMO would be TTS Mastertune or SEST. for self tuning there is either the Thundermax Autotune or Power Commander V Autotune units

Just finished putting the power duals & hi flow mufflers on a 2011 SESG, we did the 110 perf upgrades, high comp pistons, 259E cams. sounded outstanding. #'s were 107tq 100hp

Power Duals with Monster Rounds and SERT.  Love the sound and performance.
