Fairing deflectors
« on: November 16, 2010, 11:23:56 AM »

I see Amigo Jorge put on deflectors on his fairing. Has anyone done this and how do they help?

I use the adjustable ones and like them a lot... Fully open they blow almost too much air for all but the hottest of days.

I had those in my previous Ultra so I decided to install in the SG since they are very helpful.....

We put them on Chitlin's SESG--they reduce the wind coming from under the fairing!

I put them on my SESG and wouldn't go without them.  It's amazing how much wind turbulence that they knock down when fully closed.  And on warm summer days, they work great for adjusting the amount of airflow you want to reach you.  Well worth the money.
