2010 production numbers by color
« on: April 07, 2011, 11:48:18 AM »

Just got off phone with customer service and finally got breakdown of SESG 2010 by color. Also got a breakdown of the CC (since that is my favorite).
total made 3,448
SR= 1652
TS= 744
CC= 1038
special colors ?=14
of the 1038 CC 88 were california bikes, 36 went to Canada, 15 went to England, 50 went to Japan,127 went to other International places,and 722 were domestic bikes.
hope this helps inquiring minds that want to know. :)

My favorite too...
Cool, 1 of 722 in the US. I have seen three others on the road around North Georgia.

"Special colors" and "California Bikes". :confused5: If I'm not mistaken there are no more special or specific "California" bikes and if that was the case then by those numbers given all bikes in Cali would be CC's since no other colors are showing "California Bikes". :nixweiss:

And I thought all CVOs were "special colors"? :nixweiss:  If that's not the case then what colors are the 14 "special colors"?

For the record, I've not seen another CC in Nor Cal.  Just the SR and TS. :2vrolijk_21:

Gary,
If I read his post right, he was only concerned about the Candy Concord and got the specific breakdown, cal, int, domestic, etc., of that particular color.  He just didn't get the breakdown of the two other colors.  I think the "special colors" are like this year, those bikes coming off the line with the wrong colored bags, inner fairings, read fenders, lowers, that were put on from other bikes.   :nervous:

Even if he's only looking at the CC didn't they stop making "California" specific bikes... I thought all US bikes were the same now?? I don't even see anything listed about "California Emissions" on spec sheets like it was a few years back. :nixweiss:

You could be right on that Gary.  But you know the MoCo can get a little behind sometimes and it may take them a while to realize that their bikes are now 50 State Certified.   :nixweiss:

So there we have it from MOCO...for the 2010 CVO Streetglides, the Tequila Sunrise is the most "exclusive" paint scheme when compared with the "mass production" Spiced Rum and Candy Concord.

There...I feel better!

Hey, don't shoot the messenger!  :)

You been drinking the koolade??  While the TS was the least desirable of all the colors.....the numbers weren't that far off. :2vrolijk_21:

  yes you're right I was interested in the cc and didn't ask for the other color breakdown. As far as cali bikes I have no idea about that just passing on the info suzy at customer service gave me. If she is wrong I have no idea or inclination to argue with her. Don't shoot the messanger. :2vrolijk_21:

Many of the CVO lines have had "special colors".  My 09 Springer had five of them.  These were bikes made for employees, owners, investors, etc. that got one-off paint jobs.  A true custom vehicle!
