The perfect storm:
« on: June 01, 2011, 08:24:48 PM »

Hi all... been away for a while. Life gets busy! Bought a 2011 CVO Street Glide! Looking to add The Perfect Storm Kit to it as soon as it comes in. Crusher Mufflers are on B.O.

Other Than Harry (Unbalanced) who recommended this kit to me and also helped design the bike I previously owned.... Looking for some feed back from those who have this set up. Good or bad! Any info would be great!!

Harry you can throw your 2 cents in too...lol!

Tommy went to the dealership to buy a tire for his bike and then 2 hours later he calls me and tells me that he bought a tire, it came with a  CVO  attached to it!! :zstupid: :zstupid:

Tommy was saying that he was tired of riding alone most of the time, cause he would always either get there 20 mins ahead of everyone else or he would have to pull over and wait for everyone, now that he is trading in his CVO EATER and getting a CVO, now he can ride with the crowd!! :vrolijk_6:

He's not getting any younger, so it will do him some good to try to ride like a civil person anyways!!  :vrolijk_9: :vrolijk_9:

Now he will not have to buy a new rear tire every 500 miles, maybe he will actually get a 1,000 miles out of one!! :shocked2: :shocked2:

Well, I am happy for him, he should get it Friday!! :2vrolijk_09:

Your wrong Mike... I went to get a tire and to take a #2 and they had the damn thing parked in the way and alls it was saying was it's time man... it's time!! So I took it in the shorts and traded the CVO eater in. Someone will be buying the fastest bagger in Mchenry Co. Kinda makes me sad.

I think it's a system that is sold through Kuryakin.  The pipes seem kind of loud to me.   But most do these days  :( I don't know anyone that has it, but they have nice samples at the big bike events,,,  Daytona etc.

I traded my 2009 CVO Road Glide in on a 2011 CVO Street Glide a couple of weeks ago and I just did the Perfect Storm system on it and it is the best exhaust system I have ever had. I have had Rhinehart true duals, Vance and Hines, Bub 7's, Sampson's, etc. etc......and I can honestly say that these are the best. I never even heard of them until I was visiting on the eastcoast of Florida at Stuart Harley and they build a lot of bikes there and I asked them their advice and they told me about this system. They said they have dyno'd a few of the bikes afterwards and that the system really gives you the numbers they claim. ....and the sound.....they sound amazing. No high pitched crackle...all low tones. Almost sounds like the growl from an old muscle car and it quiets down at cruise so you can hear your radio but when you want to be heard you grab a handfull and it lets everyone know your there.

GREAT SYSTEM!
