Gosh, how long you guys been riding LOL
I use lemon water, the lemon helps with retaining the fluid. You SIP, not drink. I have a bottle that has a straw, you can get them from Walmart. No spils.
I stop when my fuelight comes on. Lmao
I did see that kruzer kaddy has a handle bar mount that can use a 7/8, 1, 1 1/4 inch bar.
I.will try that, its cheaper, plus I have 4 of their cup holders.
Thames for the ideas

I have a Barefoot Willie on my bike - cheap - easy to mount in different locations, doesn't swing around, and is easy to put on/take off depending on the length of the ride I am doing.  I know it's not sexy, but it is very practical in the hot TX summers.  It also allows you to have a coozy in the holder, helps keep the liquids a bit cooler over time.  I usually freeze water bottles, keep them in my saddlebag cooler, and drop one in on a stop.  Water stay's cold as it thaws.  It's easy to grab when the cruise control is running, or your not in the twisties. It does condense, sweat, and drop water droplets as it's warming up, but I don't care about that when it's 100+ outside.  Hydration is my number one concern when it's hot.  I also don't like donating $1.50 for water at a gas stop.

I use the Kruzer Kaddy with the switch housing mounting bolts on my 2011 SESG. The handlebar clamps will not work on the CVO's due to the master cylinder and hydraulic clutch housings. I mounted mine on the right side due to having the fairing mounted gps on the left side. I have used this product on several bikes, it looks good and installs in just a few minutes and can be removed just as quick. It also comes with two diffent size incerts for different size bottles.
