David, you are absolutely correct.  It is ProtectAll that they recommend.  I went out and looked in my cupboard and there sits a bottle of ProtectAll.  Must have been going by memory when I said Armour All-----and that is a dangerous thing.  Thanks

Glad to hear I am not the only one who, as my wife says "take the bike apart to wash it". Good for you Greg!

Good for you, Don. I can't imagine ignoring all the dirt behind the side covers and the bags. Especially behind the bags, the brake dust will lead to corrosion.

Kudos to Indenial for admitting his memory might be imperfect. I'm sure we've all posted imperfect information here and we all should admit it when that happens.

So, fos41, how is your seat? Just to be clear, I'm referring to the one on your bike.   :P

Greg,

Sorry for the delay in replying. Bike seat is unchanged have been on the road traveling for work since mid August hoping to get some Doc Bailey`s when I get home and give it a go and hope for a better looking seat.

Know it is TMI, but my personal seat is rather sore since driving 2000 miles from Duluth, Mn to Phx. Az. since Sat. Tue. whes lol.

Finally got home and used the Doc Bailey`s on my seat which worked very well to improve the white discoloration on my seat.
