Looking for some summer riding boots, I’m looking for something that breaths and durable. I was pointed toward these by a member and they look like they fit the criteria. Anyone else has a recommendation, I’m all ears. I reckon some textile/mesh riding pants will be next in line.

Very subjective subject. The boots you're considering have no CE rating. That would eliminate them from my choices. If you've ever seen pictures or videos of feet after motorcycle crashes, you'd understand. So, here is my recommendation: KLIM OUTLANDER GTX BOOT (https://www.klim.com/Outlander-GTX-Boot-3926-001?quantity=1&color=82).

Do you have a pair of the KLIM outlander boots?

I use to wear some military boots, I think they were called jungle boots, the side was green mesh of some sort. That was only 40+ years ago.
Several people have directed me toward swat type boots. It's gonna be hard to change my style of boots because I've been wearing my red wings for long time now. ;D
I also prefer a flat sole, no defined heel or lug soles, now I'm getting picky. :nixweiss:

Five of us just completed a ride to the Colorado Rockies. Four of us were still wearing the Original Swat 9" Classic side zip. There's a reason that law enforcement and firefighters wear these boots all day long. Still the most comfortable boot that I've ever put on! And I'm in the Tucson area where it's been over 109F for the past two weeks!

They are still available - Fox Outdoor Products Vietnam Jungle Boot (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HGYY82O/?coliid=I2IRYNSJROCGIL&colid=1SL9B1PWF98CT&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it).
Another choice are boots made by Danner (https://www.danner.com/). I've had several pairs of them that I got issued to me when I was with FD. They are lightweight and comfortable... they even have some styles that have the flat soles you desire.

Yes, I have the Klim Outlander Boots and like them very much. Klim products are top grade. The BOA system works very well. These are the best for me.

For summer riding shoes I've been wearing Redback's for years. I'm on my second pair. I have the black without the extra toe protection. They are waterproof, they are super lightweight, they breath really well, they are super grippy even on wet tile and really built to last.
I learned about them from a buddy of mine that owns a towing company and is really hard on shoes but needed something lightweight and non slip to walk on the roll back deck on his truck, especially when wet and slippery. I also noticed that several of the tech's at work (we used to call them mechanics) were wearing them around the oil, grease and coolant, and they are on their feet all day, every day, they said that the MAC tool guy carried them on his truck. I get mine from Whistle Work Wear.

BTW, mine are called the Easy Escape Black 6"....without the steel toe for me.

I'll update when I get the boots. Thanks for all the suggestions.
Red Wing discontinued the boot I have been wearing for many years. :nixweiss:
How about some orange, platform, hi-top, steel toe chuck taylors. 8)

I will also update you when I get the Indie Ridge in the proper size, should be late next week

The Swat/Danner etc. are very good comfortable boots but will do nothing to protect yours toes, ankles or feet in general if you actually have a accident. Your feet are important, protect them, listen to Greg.

Haaaa, gotta love the Chucks!!

Modeling my summer riding boots. They’re specific to motorcycling so the safety factor is covered in the construction, attention to detail is an understatement.
I haven’t ridden in them yet, I’ve just wore them around the house making sure fit was good and they're keepers. For what you get I see the IndieRidge boots as a very good value.
I’ll follow up down the road. The Converse are my camp shoes. :nixweiss:

Mine also came last night, I ended up with one size up, it said to order your average shoe size, that was just a little too sung, sent them back for exchange and they fit perfect, I also will try them out Saturday and Sunday. I also got the "The Golden Glove" I needed a new pair and they are priced along with Harley gloves and seem to be better quality.

They also threw in a "Old Gory" face mask, maybe for the trouble of having to exchange size of the boots.

I have seen a lot of You Tuber's rave about these boots and one of them did an interview with the owner of Indie Ridge, I thought it was very interesting so that's why I figured to give them a try.
