Damn, that banana looks great with those wheels Joe.  I've flirted with gold spokes for the red bike.  To pull out the wide gold stripe in the paint.  Actually think it would even look pretty good.  But then I remember how much I hate cleaning spokes.....  :nixweiss:

I did Joe.  Made me feel all warm and fuzzy too.  With the yellow that really pops too.  That's a sweet bike.

Buddy's?  Or just one you saw?

Sweet bike no matter where its home is.  Seeing those spokes makes me think more about chrome rims and red spokes and gold plated rims and spokes on the red bike though.  Hmmmmmmmmm........

I'll take cleaning chrome spokes over the never ending polishing of uncoated aluminum wheels.

Spray it on................wash it off.

Completely agreed.  Totally anal on spokes is of course an absolutely terribly chore.  But spray on, rinse off, blow dry, maybe hit with a squirt of silicone; I can live with that.  Straight aluminum pieces though; that's a chore that you just about have to do.  Otherwise they don't start looking bad.  They start looking BAD.

Hey! SCRM-R
Sorry guy just got to go with those Arson's and like Grover said a 21" up front, with the 16 or 18 you just can't see enough of the wheel, and why spend all that money on it if you can't see it. And you have to get the new fender that Mark and I have to show it off even better.

My vote is for the Arson's also. W/the theme of your bike (paint, AC cover, and Fork lowers of those I can see in picture) I think they would look the best. :2vrolijk_21:

I like the look of the big beefy-looking fender up front.  Sorry, but the 21" up front on a bagger is definitely not for me.  I can appreciate those that like it, but as they say, to each his own.  Lately I've looked at dozens of baggers with custom front wheels, and I like the look of the 18's best on a touring bike.  16's don't show enough of the wheel, and 21's look like they belong on a wide glide (I had one of those) or a chopper, IMO.  Maybe it's because of the custom 21" on the wide glide that I had that makes me think that it belongs there, I don't know.  Thanks for the comments though...looks like the concensus is Arson.

Good choice!!!  Hope you don't have to wait long, but I wouldn't count on it.  I'm waiting on a rear rotor that's holding up over 4K worth of stuff I have to install!!  The HogPro folks are great, but at the mercy of their suppliers   :wall:
