Title: 2020 CVO Road Glide Handlebars?
Post by: 20RGCVOJoe on December 11, 2020, 07:04:06 PM
So I went from the stock wheelburrow bars to Factory47 Legacy. worried that the meathook look like Yaffe's stuff might be a bit played, I went with the legacy which are smooth. I also really don't like really tall apes.  the shortest F47's were 12 inches. Bought 'em and installed 'em. Well. They're too tall for me and too wide. 36" wide. The ride is OK but the bike now looks like a giant jackrabbit. Main goal was to straighten the grip so it didn't feel like I was pushing a wheelburrow.  I'm looking for a 10 inch (ish) bar, in black, that is about 34 inches wide.  I've looked at Yaffe monkeys and KST customs.  Anyone else out there love their bars?

Take a look at LA Choppers Twin Peaks,  they offer a 10” w/ 34” width in black...it’s not a meat hook but a 90 degree angle...been around for a while so tons of pics out there with different size bars (worth a google)

I have a 19mako.  14" factory 47s. I love em.   Looks great and very comfortable for me.   I have 14" yaffe on my 16cvorg.  I like them but they are only 11/4. They are comfy as well.  I really like the look of the 11/2" bars that the 47s are.    Stuart.

I too have run both the above bars.  The Factory 47 look better dye to being 1 1/2 diameter bars.  The factory 47 14" are shorter and wider than the Yaffe 14"

I prefer the Yaffe for height and width and my comfort.  Have them on my 13 King and 19 RG.

Try a set of these, there are 3 adjustments you can make.  I love mine :pepper:  I got the 14, but they come in 10,12 & 14.

Very happy with JSR Bad Attitude 12" bars. They do have the meat hook design which it seems like you're looking to avoid, but they may make a set without those points. The pull-back is less than stock bars for sure, meaning it doesn't feel like a wheelbarrow or ram horns.

By far the best mod on my bike hands down.  I've had all kinds of bars, on my Deluxe i'm riding Carlini Gangsters and for that bike they're great but on my Road Glide these Kraus bars are absolutely amazing.  Talk about feeling connected to the bike, just being in touch with every movement and the feeling of absolute control.  Want to feel like you can whip a 900lb bike around?  These bars will give you that exact feeling.

There's a link to the kit which includes everything you need except the labor lol.  They're spendy but I tell you what, now that I know what they feel like I would have spent more.  My kit I chose the 10" pull backs and teh gauge bezel sits perfectly in front of my onboard screen where it doesn't block it at all.
