Title: tman 555 cams
Post by: fastboatnut on February 12, 2021, 12:29:22 PM
My local Harley shop is trying to talk me into Tman 555 cams as a good bolt on for my 2016 road glide ultra CVO. I ride double most of the time, I am looking for some input from guys that have done this.
Thanks

Sorry, no input on those cams, however, I have the same bike as you and went with Woods-T7H. A buddy of mine had them and said they were awesome, plus talked with FuelMoto and they recommended them for adding the lower end torque I wanted.  It's in the shop with my indy guy as we speak to get them swapped out with lifters, bearings and pushrods.

They do have a 555 torquester version. I think that would be good.

The stock cam is a good torque producer. Most of the others will drop you in the first portion of the torque curve and move the peak torque point out some. If the other cams are installed with a compression jump, new story.

If you want more torque without moving the curve to the right the TTS-100 is awesome as a bolt in on the 110's.
