if I take the cat. out of a 114 m8 , with  V/H slip ons , will I need to tune? :nixweiss:

Yes. And be prepared to have your powertrain warranty voided due to EPA non compliance, provided you are still within the 2 year manufacturers warranty time frame. But it will sound better... and be cooler on your foot and leg. And passenger.
