Stopped in there on a ride thru the WV mountains.  Nice little dealership, but I guess this is a sign of the times.

Any indication if the closing was a decision made from the dealership side (for whatever reason) or if the MoCo made the choice for them?

The dealership was fairly low volume and low traffic. The main dealership in Charleston WV, owned by Dennis Di Filippo, remains open as it has much higher traffic than Hico. I have not talked to Dennis but surmise it was an internal decision.

While riding through WV my friend's 2015 Ultra started popping cooling fan fuses. Had the bike flat-bedded to New River Gorge H-D. Very nice people there. They looked at the bike right away and made a diagnosis. Best part about it was we got to stay at Hawk's Nest State Park that night, and there's a bar! It sucks that the dealer network is shrinking. I love West Virginia.
