But..... 30 min max endurance.  Admittedly I'm old, but even I still look forward to more than 30 minutes of play time at a time.

I'm a turbine tech in my spare time for a friends business selling & servicing those style turbines and after seeing how often those things can fail, I wouldn't strap 2 of them to my back!  A lot can go wrong when you turning 150K plus RPMs!  Maybe that's  why they are flying over water!  Its a little different when your using those in a drone or rc aircraft, at least its just money when you crash!
