Title: 2010 blacked out darkside flhtcuse5
Post by: smkymtnboy on June 27, 2022, 04:23:24 PM: has anyone changed out the chrome exhaust on this bike to black? if so what did you go with and where did u get it? pics would be great! i am going to change the chrome to black.any help in this urgent matter is appreciated. do not mention this to my wife i am going to surprise her :sweetheart:

thanks,dave! previous owner blued chrome pretty bad. so, as many with this model i decided to change over to black pipes.

As I washed my bike yesterday, I was thinking the black chrome Harley heat shields would look great on your bike.

Post by: smkymtnboy on July 02, 2022, 12:26:15 AM: great minds think alike! was looking at the finish on black chrome and i like the look! need to verify part numbers and check availability! bike had 16100 mi when i purchased in nov.21. went through the motor. added new lifters and compensator while i was at it. paint and tires look good so i am nearly there. :bananarock: :mango: :orange: :pineapple: :pepper:

Be aware that there is the “black chrome” as on our 2019 cvo limited and is different than the “black” on some of the other baggers.
