FOWLERVILLE, Mich. -- Livingston County authorities said a motorcyclist who was run over by a tractor-trailer along Interstate 96 has died.
Sheriff Bob Bezotte told the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus that the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on I-96 near the weigh station between Webberville and Fowlerville about 10:20 a.m. Friday when witnesses saw him duck below the windshield.
The man lost control of the motorcycle after striking the semi, went under the tires and was run over.
Bezotte declined to identify the victim, pending notification of family.
Bezotte said alcohol is not believed to be a factor. An autopsy is pending.
No further details were released.

"witnesses saw him duck below the windshield.
The man lost control of the motorcycle after striking the semi, went under the tires and was run over."
We're not getting the whole story here. You don't just "duck behind the windshield" and hit a truck.
