I don't have the original key or key fob. Do I need the key fob to activate the security system? And if so can I get anew one from the Motor Co.? :)

Not certain what year your bike is and how the security system works, but you can get a fob from your dealer set up for your bike. With mine you wouldn't be going anywhere without the fob.

It's a 2004 Screamin Eagle Deuce. I should've put that in my first post. You don't have to have the fob to start it.

You do need the fob to arm the system. There is a way using the turn signal switches to arm or disarm it, using a personal code you set up. But you will need the fob to set it up, since I assume you don't know the existing personal security code.
A dealer can sell you a new fob and can either assign that fob to the security module for you, or you can do it yourself if you have the instructions. The ones I'm attaching are for a 2005 model, I'm not certain if they also work on a 2004 model. Click on the picture to enlarge if it's too small to read
