Do these new motors put out a lot of heat?
(1/1)
Indenial:
The early 110's put out a tremendous amount of heat. Several years later, the liquid cooled heads helped some. So I haven't heard of many complaints about the heat the new motors put out. Is it much of an issue?
Lever:
not sure with mine yet .... purchased mine in September really didn't notice to much heat in the little amount of riding I done before putting it up for winter
FLSTFI Dave:
It's not as hot as a wet head 110 with the cat removed from the 110 bike, and cat still in the 114 bike.
SPEEDMONGER:
ON TRIP TO INDY FROM MILWAUKEE MELTED HEEL OF RIGHT BOOT BURNT THR ANKLE WITH ONLY 2000 MILES GOT HOME DDID A DECAT AND RETUNE GOT 98 HORSE POWER AND A LOT LESS HEAT
ultrafxr:
It's a lot cooler than the air cooled 110s I had on three different bikes. Got it in mid-September so it was still pretty warm the first few 0,000 miles I
rode it.
