Started out for a test ride after work today since the weather was cooperating and while waiting for a traffic light about a half mile from home some dumb b***h in a beater ran in to me from behind. !@#$%&

No major damage, rear fender and some other items will need to be replaced and I didn't go down but it sure ruined my week. So I didn't get the opportunity to check out the breather system. Guess that's the least of my worries at the moment.

I would be very interested in this information if you would be so kind as to pass it on to me. Getting it out of my Ventilator as I did was the big thing but now that I have everything bypassed, what I do with it, is the million dollar question.

It involves using Kuryakyn 9932 or 9930 breather fittings and modifying your existing air filter backing plate for clearance and blocking off unnecessary holes. I’ll keep looking for the procedure that was done on a Twin Cam.  Another way I saw it done was drilling and tapping the breather bosses for 1/8 pipe thread hose fittings.

Still using my original design and it seems to work extremely well. I'm changing my backing plate to the K&N ventilator kit after a minor message by Paul at Fuel Moto and some gloss black powder coating though to facilitate my upcoming build that will include a 64mm throttle body.

So the drain line is rooted forward and down, and you're not noticing much if any oil?  is there a filter on the end?  My motor has so much oil, I know its new and it might take a bit to seal up but I dont want that going into my cylinders to bake onto the piston tops.

Nope, down and back. Don't overfill your oil. Always check it after it's good and hot and give it a few minutes to cool/drain down and never fill all the way to the hot line or it will burp oil unnecessarily.

I had an old filter that fit the tubing and I shoot a little carb cleaner on it every 5000 miles when I have it on the lift to change oils. Never had any oil drips on the floor.

My green bike has a little more complicated vent system that goes into a catch can and after going through a breather screen, out the back of the bike.
