Wilbers Suspension
« on: March 15, 2021, 11:57:03 AM »

Has anyone tried the Wilbers Suspension upgrade?  I recently ran into them and am interested, but can't find anyone that has experience with them.

Interesting German company. Haven't heard of them.  Let us know if you get them and how they work.

I think The Beamer Shop (BMW) carries them as does another EPM Imports. I bought some YSS
320 mm Z366TRL shocks for one Road King and a set of HyperPro Shocks (FXR4) from them a good company.

Take a longer look at the Wilbers.....
If it works like offered it would be AMAZING
The Shocks are leveling on it`s own
The comfort is much better
It will last nearly forever
BUT
Even a non-technique rider will figure out that you have to built two unequal Shocks on your bike! one with Spring. one without. My opinion: Can´t work equally - a very important point on SHOCKS.

I changed to Wernimont RS-1 this (so called) Spring. I never had Shocks like this before!!! Amazing!! Just see one of the Walker Evans vids with Trucks and ATV´s. You will directly see that this guy knows a little bit about Shocks.......Take care & Ride free!

Million Dollar Bogan (search YouTube for his videos) has Wilbers on his unbelievably abused Road King, and he thinks their suspension is game changing.   He had it fitted at Matt Laidlaw's place and there's a video of that getting done:
