No idea what this is...

I just purchased a 2007 Ultra Classic CVO this weekend, first Harley for me!! Now that she is home where she belongs, I am doing some deep cleaning. When I removed the seat, I found this that has at some time been added on. It has no markings of any kind, and I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. Do any of you recognize this?

On my 2009 SERG, the purple and brown wires went to the tail lights. Have led tail lights been installed on your bike? If so, my guess is this is the Load Equalizer that has been crimped across the two wires so your directionals will not flash double time.

Thank you!! Mystery solved! Yes, LEDs are installed, and I had thought maybe it was related to those, but wasn't sure.
