Radio Speakers Cutting Out
« on: June 18, 2021, 06:03:31 PM »

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced an issue with all the speakers intermittently cutting out.  There are no visual changes in the display.  I'm a little reluctant to take off the outside portion of the fairing to gain access to the back of the radio, but that seems to be my only recourse.

For what it"s worth...I had this happen years ago on my 2004 and it turned out to be a bad relay causing it

Could be your weather or GPS notifications interrupting the music. Turn the notifications off or turn their volume up so you can hear them.

I ended up taking the bike to the HD dealer and he found that an uploaded nav or map program had probably corrupted it.  I had previously shut off the both the CB, the weather bulletin notification and found the am/fm, CB antenna in the wrong positions.  I'm picking it up tomorrow so hopefully all is well.
