Hogtunes REV225 not powering on
« on: July 24, 2021, 09:58:31 PM »

I have just installed the Aquatic AV headunit, and a Hogtunes REV 225 amp on my 2007 Ultra CVO. Radio turns on fine, everything is wired correctly, triple checked, plus a few more times. My amp power light is not coming on.

I bought two amps, so I have even gone as far as to change every harness, and even tried the second amp. Still not getting any power. I have seen others mention checking the orange wire on the cigarette lighter (not sure why) and that is fine, and working. I have checked, and replaced just to be safe, all of the fuses in the power line.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, and how to fix it?

Remote power from radio to the amp… most likely a blue wire.    :nixweiss:

These do not use a remote wire, it is voltage sensing through the harness.

May be a silly question.....Have ty tried powering rhe Amp directly from a battery to see of it fires up?
