Interesting.  I wonder how many times this has happened.  Does seem that Harley knows there is an issue with rear brakes.

The report stated that both trikes had been in for the recall.

Well he says the recall was done but did the dealer tech do it properly - in other words did it actually update?  Who knows.  Chit happens.  I have a 2020 and the recall was done before I took delivery in December, 2019.  18k on it and no problem in this regard whatsoever.  And it's not the brakes per se - it is the traction control system taking control and applying a brake on just one rear wheel because it thinks it has lost traction and is spinning.  If concerned about this the traction control can be turned off just by pressing the TC button.  It is active by default so must press the TC button at each startup to disable.  While a slight inconvenience it only takes a couple seconds.

The recall was for brakes, but seems this may be a traction control problem.  Admittedly, I’m not familiar with how TC works on a trike vs a two-wheeled bike.  If one wheel loses traction on a trike, what corrects that…the brake on that wheel?
