I ordered them from J&P since I had not heard good things about ordering directly from eglides. They were in stock and were shipped in about a week. Installed them and they are a great addition.

This is one of those items that begs to be copied. Surely they can be replicated for $130 each.

Their site isn't showing a thing right now.  But at least a contact phone number can be gotten there:  http://www.hogtrough.com

They offer a set of locking doors.  I saw them offered for $130.00 on the floor at Gail's Harley in Grandview, MO ten days or so ago.  They were locking doors with a kicker though.  The left side included a water bottle and water bottle holder made on to the door.

Not a lot for high style.  But nicely functional.

I ordered some stuff directly from E-Glide and had in about 4 days. This is the 2nd time that I ordered without
problems. I would order direct again. I will be ordering my locking doors direct.

I bought my set from another vendor than eGlide.  Said they would ship in a couple of days.  Guess what?

After a couple of weeks I check with the vendor and he refers me to the manufacturer............you guessed it
"E" Friggin' Glide Goodies....................

Oh well, I got them in about a month and they are fine.

Gail's HD in Kansas City was selling these for $130.  Just noticed the vendor itself is selling them for $100 including freight.  It ain't high style.  But it's not a bad idea.

That setup doesn't look to friendly when making left turns. :nervous: Anybody have these that can verify the water bottle setup doesn't hit the tank?

I'd never seen the product before seeing it a couple of weeks ago on the floor at Gail's HD.  That was a question I asked of the sales weenie on the floor.  He assured me they'd installed a set and that it did not hit.  I still don't know if that was an answer provided to sell parts or an answer based on reality.

Also wondering know the new 6 gallon tank is wider.  If so even if this might have cleared the "old" tank have to wonder if it would clear the new one.

I ordered mine from Eglide Goodies and received them in a matter of days for $239.   I have not yet installed them.  Does anyone have any installation experiences to relate to the group?  They appear to be pretty straightforward.

Welcome aboard SuperMario.  The install is straight forward.

When you open them make sure to protect the paint.

They won't hit the 5 gal tank in any turn.  Look like they at least occasionally rub a 6 gal tank, though.

Neither lowers or tank move with the bars/forks so clearance between them should not be a problem when turning.
