I would have changed to Hayden if I had gotten the information sooner.

I may have not been clear.  I have been chasing a noise in my primary.
Step 1 I replaced the SE compensator.
Step 2 I replaced the primary chain tensioner.
While these helped to reduce the noise, neither has solved the excessive metal in my primary fluid and I still have a noise.
So my future step 3 is to now have the inner primary bearing looked at.
My guess is one or both of the bearings in the inner primary are toast.

Yeah I got it, I was just stating I wish I had known about the Hayden before I did mine.

I am betting you have the same issue I did....change it out and you should be all set.

I hear ya Dick, the good news is both of us should be getting to the core of this problem.
As far as the Hayden tensioner it is not to late to change it for you.  It takes no time at all and is as simple as any install you can do.
I didn't even change the primary gasket and no leaking or weeping at all.

Thanks for your info, it really helped me out.
