Added the Swingarm Inserts before heading out on a long ride today.
An inexpensive addition for a big change to the Swingarm.

Installed my new Ohlins.

Good call, I did the same. (But went with yellow springs - nostalgic)

Tucked my baby away for her long winter's nap.  As I was wiping some dust away before riding, I was trying to hurry and the edge of the microfiber towel actually put a slight scratch in the back side of the right hard bag.  Man, I can't believe this paint is that soft.  I already had some paint correction work to do before this, now I just have a longer list once she wakes up from her nap.

I would try some Scratch & Swirl Repair (or similar type product) first... I can't imagine a microfiber cloth would put a scratch so deep that could/would require paint correction. :nixweiss:

"Paint correction" is a detailing industry term that refers to the application of products to remove paint swirls and light scratches.

I think you're saying the same thing. :2vrolijk_21:

Affirmative, Thunder - albeit I'm a little leery of taking the Porter Cable to the hard bags with some of the angles that need to be dealt with.

This is what I use for the bikes: http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/professional+3+inch+random+orbital.do

Still can't get everywhere in, and around, the tank and fairing on either of my 2 bikes, but your SERK should be a little easier that way.  Bags are pretty do-able.  I get what I can with them on the bike, then take them off and lay 'em on a pile of sheets to do the backs.  Not much left to do by hand after getting the larger areas with the 3".

Added an Arlen-Ness fairing to the Breakout with HD quick release clamps. Makes a big difference when riding the bike. Up next getting it painted to match the rest of the bike with the diamond black/chrome/slate/red pinstripe.
