Finished install of Clarion NZ503 DVD NAV Flip-out stereo. Had swap to a Klock Werks 8" windshield to allow LCD screen to flip out.

This is extremely cool... The way all H-D radios should come as standard equipment, well at least on the CVO's.   :2vrolijk_21:

Much better having the screen up high, right in your line of sight of the road ahead.

Very nice and appropriate mod.

How's the water-proofedness of the Clarion NZ503 DVD NAV Flip-out stereo?

Looks great, is the screen flipping out an option or does it always flip out?

Haven't tested the waterproofness yet, but plan to keep it as dry as possible. No, the screen can be in or out depending on your preference and can be operated in both positions from my handle bar controls.

Cleaned out the 4th garage stall, about ready to move the bike from the winter storage location along the front wall of the garage.  Can't wait to uncover the bike and get out on the road.  We probably have a couple more weeks of snow, freezing temps and chemicals on the road before I take her out.

Had a 57 degree day here so the wife and I took a little 150 mile spin around the area. :2vrolijk_21:

Sure was nice to get the beast out for a little run.

Still waiting on parts....Two pistons (from Mother Harley) came out of their boxes with broken rings.

Sent from my iPad, probably while I'm pooping.

We had the same idea. :)  Wife and I put 180 miles on today.  It was great to finally be out.  Saw lots of people out riding.  We went up the Mississippi in search of Eagles to photograph. Saw a few birds, but not very close to us.  No worries though because it was great to finally ride!!!

Snowing when I got up.
Went to the shop and built a fire in the stove.
Turned on the tunes.
Got out the wax, cleaning rags and Pig Spit.
Cleaned, waxed, and admired.
Snowed all day and still snowing.
All in all, A GOOD DAY.

Amazing weather today so went from the water up thru Mt Laguna (around 6000 ft) down to the desert. Going to finally rain next weekend and we really need it so ended up doing around 300 miles which was awesome (my butt hurts..). Crazy amount of bikes of all types out today. Lots of waving.
