ThunderMax / 110 / Compression Releases
« on: November 22, 2006, 09:08:40 PM »

I've created a quick sheet on how to disconnect the compression release trigger wire from the ECM if you want to install the ThunderMax and AutoTune.  I got to spend about 30 miles on a 110 a few days ago with the ThunderMax on it and was quite pleased with how it ran.  Right now, we have a map for the stock exhaust system and one with HP+ slip-on mufflers.  A 2:1 D&D Fat Cat map will be done Monday 11/27/06; still waiting on a set of Rineharts to make a map for them (hard to get right now).

As I mentioned before, an updated circuit board is in the works for the ThunderMax which will include the driver needed to operate the compression releases.  Will be released sometime after the first of the year.  If anyone is interested in using the current model ThunderMax on their 110 (with the compression releases disconnected, as the connection results in a fuse-blowing short), I will trade out the current model for the newer version when available.  This trade-out applys to 110" CVO applications only.  Thanks, JK

Thanks, JK
