Today, we had the great honor, long deserved, and long invested in Eagle Ceremony for my son Gabriel. I am so proud of him. 14 years old and well on his way to being a man. I couldn't ask for a better son.

Congratulations to him. It is an amazing accomplishment for him and for those who have supported him in this goal.

Please pass along to Gabriel my congratulations and my welcome to the group from a fellow Eagle scout (March 1, 1976).  That's something that he can carry with him the rest of his life.

Congratulations to Gabriel.  He won't recognize what he did for many years.  At 14 it's just having fun.  But the lessons learned by achieving Eagle are the leadership skills that he will use the rest of his life.  He was out doing and accomplishing things while his classmates were playing video games.  Well done

Everyone's kind words are greatly appreciated by he and I. Tonight, we are shacked up in a hotel on our return journey from Sea Base. It has been a glorious week spent in the Keys with he and 5 other boys. He and one other boy who just Eagled enjoyed a celebratory trip. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, out island camping, a day in Key West, and off shore fishing,,, what more could they ask for?
