Surely a lack of post doesn't indicate a lack of interest in the SE Fat Bob...
Look at the SE Fat Bob Convertible...

about 30 minutes from a Screamin Street Brawler to a comfortable trip bike...

Everything is quick detach....

Very nice. Love the solo seat. My 09 FXDFSE is my bike of choice and the first bike I put on a par with my 87 FXRC. Thank you for the post.

Hi RYRS828DJ
Nice ride, I like the seats and side bags, Got any info on them ie the seats what type and style, cost and the same with the side bags, what other parts are need to add the bags on.
-
Thanks HDU. The seats are Mustang 16 1/2 in. Wide Vintage Solo Seat w/Removable Backrest - 79358 and Mustang 12 1/2 in. Wide Vintage Rear Seat - 79359, about $600...got em at DennisKirk. The bags are HD Rigid Locking Leather Saddlebags-91615-09A, about $700. Don't need anything to attach for rigid mount.

Hi Again RYRS828DJ
Thank you for all the info, I will get onto these as i need something to improve the ride. The bags look good and also look like they can hold some stuff. I have the SE 2010 matt black and flames with the brown seat so I will see if i can get a simular match in colour.
Thanks again for the help

VERY nice look! :2vrolijk_21: I am fan of the Mustang solo also.
Have you found a way to mount both the detachable backrest and the saddlebags at the same time or are they mutually exclusive?
-
yea its all quick detach. Had to make up the bolts for the saddlebags.
-
sorry if i missed it, but where did you get the quick detach for the saddlebags? i got the harley saddlebags on mine but they are bolted in. i would prefer a quick detach for the days i want to ride without them.
i too love the single seat. i just purchased the single sundowner seat. i will post a pic once i get it in hand and on the bike. i know many thing the sundowner isnt all that great looking, but i went with the single seat not the double. i am hoping it looks good once its on the bike else i might have to but the mustang.
thanks.

Yes, can you give us a little more detail on how you set up both the bags and the rack as quick detach together? Is it 4 longer bolts with two set of detach/collars on each?
Thanks!

Replace the bolts used to mount the sissy bar detachables with a hardened bolt long enough to go through the bags. Attach bags with washers & wingnut. When removing bags place a chrome spacer and acorn nut on exposed bolt. Works well and not even noticeable. However, I find my bags staying on more than off anymore.

Just thought I would post a picture of my lovely lady from yesterday, wonderful riding here in Miami and she was purring like a champ. This is with the mustang day tripper front and rear seat, real comfortable for my other lady, and I am liking it as well.

CVOMIAMI,
That's a great looking ride! Your picture helps me remember having to mow 2X per week during the rainy season.

Thank you, I also like to ride her when its just me on the solo seat, definitely a more mean look.
