Title: cvo dyna - 2007 or 2008?
Post by: shanscamcpa on August 20, 2010, 07:08:27 PM
I am looking at purchasing a CVO dyna.  Is there any real difference between the 2007 and 2008 models? My 84 FXRS still tears up the pavement, but these CVO bikes look great and can be had pretty reasonable right now.  Red 07 or Cobalt Blue 08 is the tough question?

I have a red 07 and love it.  The 08 paint job is really nice too.   I don't know enough about the 08 to tell you what the big differences are, but either one would make a great bike to have.

The n08's had some cylinder or head gasket problems. Covered by the fractory warranty.
However, the problem was resolved for the 09's.
Just so you will know, this is the best deal ever on a CVO Dyna. I've looked everywhere. Nothing close. http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=52436.0

07 has the only black and chrome motor in a sport bike,08 has a granite [gray] motor. Visually a huge difference-IMO

the console sold me for the 07. i loved the 08 when i sat on it and searched for a while for the blue.  i then stumbled on a 07 in the granite ice which i didn't care for in pics but in person i loved it.  the gas gauge and handlebars did it for me.
