I started off with a 2003 Dyna, then added a 2004 VRod. I just returned from Sturgis and while the Dyna was comfortable I thought my next trip could be even more comfortable so I ordered a 2008 SE Ultra Classic...should be here this week. I had some SE questions on another forum I visit and they directed me here. This looks like a very good site....just what I was looking for.

Welcome. You'll find a lot of friends and support here. I love also that beverage Fired mention, but beer is everything. First accessory I bought, is liner cooler. Of course, not mix beer and ride; put beer on liner, ride, when I turn off the bike for the day, I take beer out for enjoy a complete riding day(is like a reward for a perfect riding day), not ride anymore in the day, until next day, 100% healthy.

I picked the bike up late Friday night and Saturday put 500 miles on her by riding up to Fort Bragg for lunch then back down Highway one to Bodega Bay before heading inland and back home. I'm impressed with the 110 motor but took it easy since I was breaking her in. Typical noisy valve train and a 5th gear that whines at low rpm.

That is the first Silver/White I have seen. Santa Cruz HD called me on Thursday to tell me that one like yours had just come in and they wanted 5K over sticker. We are waiting for our Anniversary SEUC supposed to arrive later this month. If I could have had your color at MSRP, I would have bought it, just couldn't find one available at MSRP. My wife and I were 50-50 on the colors, either one would work, so we are waiting for the Anniversary color. Ride safe, that's a beautiful bike!

Your photo skills are much better than the MoCos. The bike looks much better in that shot. I think it has to do with all of the paint schemes look so much better in direct sunlight...with all of the metal flake especially. You would have thought the MoCo would have figured that out by now.

I wanted a white bike..The catalog and website almost made it look like it was more grey than it was....I was quite relieved when I saw it in person!
