Well the ride is in the books. Considered it more of a "proof of concept" ride more than a large get-together. There were just 3 of us - myself, Hunter from this site (Fred), and Mark.
All in all, I think the ride was a success. We opened the first Hooters at exactly 11am & closed #9 at 2am. This ride can be done with a large group, but we will make adjustments to the plan (less time spent ordering / eating hot wings, which by the time we got to the 90th one, we were pretty sick of....)
I didn't "market" the ride as I should have but that was a blessing in disguise - a group of 12-15 bikes would have been tough to keep together in certain stretches of the route (mostly northern Jersey). But like I said, it can be done, and with some minor adjustments, a large group (~20+ bikes) would still be do-able.
Anyway, I'm gonna post a bunch of pic's here - nobody really wants to see me type and type right? Where's the girls??? Coming up...
