Napa valley wine country ride 1/2/10

It was last Mon. that I decided to take a ride up to the Napa valley and then decided to invite our friends......all of you. Come on along.....

I tried to pick a starting point that is centrally located for all those that had indicated they were interested in joining us.........Denny's in Cordelia at 9:00 a.m. was the starting point.

Within just a few minutes more and more and more bikes rolled in and we soon had half the restaurant taken up.

Some we hadn't saw or rode with for several months.  It was great to see everybody and such a great turn out for just a day ride.

No rain today however, it was very foggy and pretty chilly when we left Sacramento.  Terrie and I hooked up with Chuck (CAP) in West Sac. and rode on over to Cordelia to hook up with everybody else.

With much pursuasion and diplomacy, we convinced them to forego that idea provided the next winery wasn't more than a couple miles dwn the road.

You'd never know that this wasn't one of the annual CVO owners GTGs but just a day ride for the Nor Cal group. :2vrolijk_21:

Riding the Silverado Trail.  While it's just a couple miles from Hwy. 29 and runs parallel to Hwy. 29 the full length of the Napa valley, it's discintly different in that there aren't any towns or business the full length of it.......just miles and miles and miles of winerys and beautiful homes.
