Friend of mine is interested in using these in his Ultra.  Wondering if anyone has any experience good or bad.

There is a thread that discusses balancing here:

Jerry, interesting read. I've read everything on their site and it sounds feasible. I may just try some, they're cheap enough and report back. Why not? :nixweiss:

Thanks Jim.  I did a search but must have done something wrong since I did not find the link you posted.  Looks like at least one member recommends them.  Like you said Chief, cheap enough to give 'em a try and see how they work.   :2vrolijk_21:

So far I've found one forum where a member tried them and had nothing but positive comments. Looks good.

From Dunlop M/C Tire Web site:Not covered.

Tires injected with dry/liquid balancers or sealants, or in which anything other than air has been used as the support medium.

So looks like Dunlop doesn't like the beads??????? :nixweiss:

I'm not to worried about tire warranty as I've never had a reason to use one yet, but I've had plenty of opportunity to use unbalanced / under balanced tires. In my opinion, there's no down side to using them.

I can do that for you already, Chiefy!  ;)

I've been using them in both tyres for a few months (before the end of the riding season). A bit difficult to get in (via the valve) at first, but once you master the technique, easy enough.

Seem to work just fine - no hint of either wheel being anything but in balance, and they let me get rid of the awful stick-on weights that would surely eventually lead to corrosion on the wheel rims.

Conclusion - seem to work just fine, worth the money.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Jim. Mine should be here this week. I got some for the bike and for the truck. I have heard mostly great things about them, but have found out that Motorcycle Consumer News reviewed them 10/2006 and poo-pooed on them. Everyone else seems to like them.  :nixweiss:

Luv 'em! I use them on 35" Mud tires on my truck. A friend has one of those miniature choppers, good to about 65 mph. He had a terrible wobble that cleared up completely with some beads I gave him.
