That's a feat to be proud of.  Other than regular maintenance, would you mind listing all the work you have had done and the mileage at the time.  Stuff we'd be interested to know like cams, tensioners, lifters, bearings that sort of thing. And the most IMPORTANT question of all,....what oil do you use?

Lets see if I can recall the info.

It has the Stage 1 using Vance Hines FP3.  Have swapped the head pipe a couple times going from 2-1-2 to true duals and now back to the 2-1-2.  Mufflers have been CFR's in the past, now Cobra 909's.  No other engine mods.

Work that has been done.  5 water pumps, finally got the updated version from the M8 put into it and no further problems since 2019.

Rear motor seal and lifters around 40,000.  Crank at 140,000 broke and took out the whole top end.  Then about 155,000 the rockers went bad.  I seem to recall compensator being replaced once and a couple of belts.  All this work was done under warranty.

Knock on wood it has run like a champ since my warranty rant out in Jul 2022.

Oil has been mostly Harley Syn3, though lately I have been using Mobil 1.

Tires seems to be another hot topic.  I get about 20,000 out of a set of tires.  Was running the Elite 2's until Commander III's came out.  I am getting more mileage and better long term wet traction from the Commander III's.

Ask away if you all have other questions.

Sad to say but lifters are now a regular wear changeable item like brake pads.

Did they say why the crank went bad?  Was it caused by too much runout and maybe scissoring? Did you replace it with the stock HD crank, or did you go with a Dark Horse crank or maybe get it balanced, welded, plugged and pinned?

No idea why it went bad.  Dealership did the work under warranty.  As far as I know it was Harley parts put back into it.  I am no mechanic so all those other terms you asked about I have no clue.

All I can say for sure is it is still running like a champ.  I keep an ear out for hearing the lifters and will get them done or do it myself the next time it starts making noise.

If all goes well I keep saying I will get 300,000 out of it before it needs to have a full motor replacement.

Congratulations on your milestone! That's something not seen often and at a great pace. My 2020 CVO Road Glide is currently sitting at 134,000. If I can keep up the same pace as 2023 going into next year, 200k should happen in 2024 pending no major setbacks.

Looking forward to you adding your name to this post when you go past the 200,000 mile mark.  I am sure there are others out there and would love to hear from them as well.

Congrats  :2vrolijk_21:
I will be adding to this thread but not this year. My CVO is parked this year as I am enjoying retirement on a little island in Greece.

Doesn't sound like a bad plan B!

Awesome!

IN the last 20 years I have amassed approximately that many miles between the 7 bikes I have owned in that time frame...

I always wanted to hit 100K on a Harley... I got to almost 60k on my 03 Fatboy before buying a 08 Street Glide... 22k/1 year later I ended up on my first CVO... and haven't stopped since.

I never keep them long enough to get that many miles on them!
