FXRG Boots

hogsty:
When I bought my fxrg jacket 15 years or so ago it came with a 5 year warranty.  I still wear it.  Wore it today on my ride, as a matter of fact.  I doubt it's still waterproof, but still my favorite jacket to wear.

The waterproofing on both the Nylon & Leather jackets and boots can be restored with application of the appropriate grade of 3M Scotchgard. I like the spray, buy it at Walmart or Amazon. I always did my work shoes about every six months and never had wet feet. I also have done my FXRG Ballistic Jacket a couple times and it has remained water proof for almost eight years now.
Be sure you do it outside on a calm day, the overspray will "waterproof" stuff you don't want to coat if you try it in the garage.

The FXRG3 boot in 2010 had a five year warranty, as they did in 2016 when I got a second pair.  When I needed a new pair last year, the FXRG3 was replaced with the non lace up FXRG boot.  No five year warranty and I do not like it near as well.  I will not by these again.

I've been wearing the FXRG boot for years & have yet to have my feet get wet. I suggested about 2 years ago, to a friend that was riding to Alaska to get a pair. He did & loves them! I decided then like everything that Harley makes eventually the FXRG boot will become obsolete. I then bought a pair for when the day comes to replace them. I'm happy I did!
