I went from the 4.5 Rineharts to Crushers when I built the 117. Never got used to the sound of the Crushers and now back to the Rineharts

Is there a real need to do any tuning when you just do slip on mufflers at like Rhinehart's.
I have a set from an older bike that I've been tempted to put on to this Ultra that I have now.
I think it's running a bit on the rich side as it is now do to the best mileage per gallon is close to 40.

I ordered them today. Rinehart told me they are 50 state epa compliant and do not need a tune on the 2017 model for my cvo. Didn't think it would, just wanted to make sure.

Yep.  My 4.5” are some big ass cans.  High quality finish & fit.  Definitely fill up the space underneath the stretched bags.  Not nearly as loud as their little brother 4” on the twin cam.   Just right for my taste with the M8.  No tune needed with slipons. Recommend.

Thanks

The right side muffler is a 2-1/2" inlet, the left side is 1-3/4". Wont fit twin cam bikes, M8 are different size inlets due to the cat being pushed back into the pipes.
What size are the inlets on the mufflers?

Thanks

Got them yesterday and installed them today after work. Really high quality construction, nice rumble, not loud. Definitely a good investment for me. As I was lowering the bike on the jack, the bottle jack starting leaking, lol. I like the J&S jack so now I'm looking for a replacement 6 ton bottle jack for it.

if your jack is still under warranty, i'd get with j&s.  if not, you can get an exact replacement off of amazon for somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 shipped.

here's the exact one that j&s uses.  https://www.amazon.com/Omega-10065B-Black-Hydraulic-Bottle/dp/B002KRUCHC

course, you may want to get a different one this go round.  you could also go with the northern tool air over hydraulic and make your jack an air lift...

I would go with the Northern Tool air model
