I cant tell you how pleased I am with this simple upgrade. I installed these mufflers and took my bike for a 300 mile ride today. Other than these slipons, my bike is completely stock and has 5000 trouble free miles on it.
1. They have a quiet rumble at idle but when you wind the engine up, its a great sounding growl that is as loud as I want it to be.
2. They are great looking mufflers, high quality chrome and the tips are much nicer than previous Rinehart pipes I've used.
3. The bike seems to rev easier and winds through the gears effortlessly all the way to 5k rpm.
4. The thing that surprised me is my gas mileage actually seems to have improved from about 36 mpg to 40 mpg just by changing the mufflers. I rode my bike the same way as always (hard!) and I was surprised to see the improvement.
