similar to what our friends in Europe experience, but at least there is some justification for the distance it must travel there first.
It's quite simply MoCo (and in your case Deeley, in our case HD Europe) pure greed, I think Murff. The prices here - and perhaps there in Canada - are simply unbelievable. Items are already seriously overpriced at US prices and we are asked to pay so much more that in terms of justifying it by distance travelled, they could have their own luxury round-the-world cruise for the extra!
A couple of examples:
58260-09CZA outer batwing fairing. US price (with discount, of course) $589.60. UK price $1667.50 at current exchange rate, inc tax.
91951-07 LH mirror. US price $102.40. UK price $289.62 (For ONE freakin' mirror!!!!)
And one that really takes the biscuit. The little chrome strip round the front edge of HDI bikes. Just a little chrome strip with sticky tape on it. Pretty plain, and not very big.
59280-02 Fender Tip, HDI. US Price $120 (bad enough!!!!) UK price $339.38 (WTF??? $340 for a little chrome strip?
Are they
crazy??)
I'd love to know what you are being asked to pay for these part #s in Canada, Murff.
