Post by: gpopvet on December 12, 2021, 02:43:50 PM
Has anybody added lowers to their bike and what is involved? Any pictures would be helpful and if paint scheme were added other than plain black.

It has been done to both CVO Road Glide Customs and CVO Street Glides without lower fairings. Try using the search function....

Some have used these and said the quality was good,

Lowers on a 21 CVO Road Glide will require a new engine guard, not the low profile one that comes on the 18-21 road glides.  The Fang will also have to be removed.  The fairing support bracket will have to be removed.

You will also have to get new fairing support brackets for the new engine guard.

I did this on an 18, which did not have the fang.  Not terribly difficult.  I have not done it to my 19.  Party because of the Fang and I like the looks of the Fang.
