First CVO From ND
« on: February 28, 2007, 03:55:10 PM »

Great Forum!
Been riding since 1972 - BSA's and then Harley's - just got my first CVO - a Razor Red SERK. Man is it beautiful! Not going to be able to pick it up for another month or so - way too much ice and snow in good ole North Dakota. I'm hoping for an early spring and a LOOOOOOOONG summer. Already have some great info from some forum members on what to do before I even ride it off the showroom floor.
Thanks again everyone - and have a long, safe and fun riding season.

::) And  I thought I had it bad here in Ohio. Roads are clear, however there is way too much salt still on them.  I won't ride until the last snow of the year comes and It rains a couple of days to clean off the salt. I've seen way too many frames rotting from the salt. I wonder if the Dealer would mind you taken a few laps around the show room? The least he can do for you since you have to wait so long for that first ride. :orange: :huepfenjump3: :mango: :bananarock: :apple: :carrot: :jalapeno: :cherry:

My older brother started with BSA's back in the early 60's. I still think BSA's are cool. People still have them and you can see some on ebay. Have been tempted to get one someday.

Welcome, and enjoy this treasure trove of information.

Welcome aboard strohkr! I started that 110" Engine Upgrade Debate, shortly after I joined here and 3 months before my '07 SEK showed up. I learned so much here in those 3 months. I did my mods immediately after I got the bike. I still have less than 200 miles on it. The weather might be breaking here soon and hopefully will rack up some more miles this weekend. But don't hesitate to do the work immediately. You're bike will love you for it and you'll do the same! if you have questions, ask away! Good luck with it and enjoy the site! Hoist! 8)

Awesome bike in that color, welcome to the site. Many, many, many ways and advice on how to spend all of your extra $$$$$$ here.  Ride safe and good luck with the new scoot! We start riding here when the temp gets over 40 and the salt is washed away, you will be riding soon also.
