Tman Cams
« on: January 09, 2022, 08:03:56 PM »

Hey guys so I’m going to swap some cams this year. I just got my exhaust and now trying to narrow down cam choice. Anyone ever run the Tman 510 cams? I thought about those and then the Fueling oil system upgrade kit from cycle solutions. Opinions welcome. Not going crazy with this bike but I have Arlen Ness air cleaner so far, now Rinehart exhaust too. Figured cams and a tuner to round it out real nice. This is for a 2004 SEEG.

Is there anything wrong with your stock oiling system?

Cam lifters and adjustable pushrods is how I would approach it.

No it seems fine. Just was reading up on them and man the benefits seem pretty good. But there's also that mentality  if its not broke don't fix it as well.

The stock system is adequate and forgiving for less than great crank runout.

Ya I’ll probably spend that money on the tuner. At 32k miles I am sure it will be fine.

Not sure what tuner I’ll buy yet I’m looking around. Same with cams I’m not set on Tman’s I was hoping so people would chime in. I will call Terry Reed for the install and tuning, was given his number by a friend.

I would suggest you land on your who will do your dyno tune and see which tuner they prefer to work with.  They will also likely have some suggestions on cams they have worked with.

Ther have been a lot of write ups in the SEEGs. Here is the direction I went. I couldn't be happier.

TTS100 with a .030 head gasket and a tune will wake your bike up nicely.
