Oxymoron
« on: October 06, 2008, 04:27:34 PM »

We were throwing out some oxymoron's on another thread, thought it would be a great time waster to start a therad on oxymoron's. But first we should understand the word, so below is a link to Hot For Words, and she'll explain oxymoron.

for the sportbike crowd:  Harley performance

I saw an old catalog with the words" Harley performance" on it this morning, and it made me think of this thread and why I do what I do. I have been riding for 46 years this year, and my main rider is a "98" Roadking with 106K miles.
This motorcycle is like an old shoe for me, it is comfortable and dependable. I would not hesitate to swing over it right now (IF THE WEATHER WOULD EVER CO-OPPERATE!!!) and head anywhere I could ride to.

I have ridden many other motorcycles both old and new, and I have not felt the need to change.  If I felt the need for a new bike, money would not be the issue.  Maybe I am stuck in the past and am too comfortable with what I know.
