Time for Introductions
« on: October 25, 2009, 04:26:54 AM »

God day, eh.

I joined this site back in 07 but have not joined any of the posts or threads  .

Maybe it's because I think motorcycling is for the road... Maybe it's because I'm anti social... or I might be shy.

Anyways,

I live for motorcycling and currently own a 2000 FLTRSEI triple red, a 1998 Buell S1W Molten Orange and Nuclear Blue, and a 2003 Aprilia Capo Nord Charcoal Grey.

The SERG is my third Harley - first one a 1981 Super Glide Candy Apple Red on silver base - traded in for a 1998 FLSTS - 95th Anniversary... too much touring on a vibrator... voila' the Y2K SERG is introduced and I just had to have one .

My average milage per year is around 25,000 miles and I try to do most of the maintenance myself. (Cheap SOB? )

I am 51 years old with 38 years on motorized two wheelers (mopeds, scooters, and motorcycles). History on rides - Thomos, Sachs, Puch, Yamaha, Norton, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Harley, Buell, KTM, and Aprilia.

Too much info? - At least you know more about me now  .

Hello from Calgary Alberta, I have been trying to figure out where in Calgary your picture is taken is it near the Seimens Bldg, just off Memorial Drive overlooking Deerfoot Trail?    :nixweiss: Cheers  :drink:

Wow, this an awesome group of people. I didn't realise there are members all over the world.

Here is a pic of the Caponord.

BTW, do other people name their rides?

My Serg is "Rose"
My Buell is "Betty"
My Caponord is "Lucia"

There's a bunch of us south of the Malahat, and north.  I don't think we've ever done an official CVO GTG here on the island.  :nixweiss:

Maybe something to think about for next spring.

And speaking of GTG's don't forget the Western CVO GTG in San Diego next June.  Likely a bunch from here going.
