Wind vest
« on: July 29, 2010, 11:07:34 AM »

Does anyone use the Wind Vest shield on their bike? I have heard great things about this small shield. Does anyone have one on their Fat boy that could post a pic? Thanks

I had one on my Fat Boy for a couple months but could not get used to the buffeting.  Went with the H-D windshield.  Sorry, no pics.

Windvest is a real high quality windshied. I got a good deal on one and tried it on my bike but was unhappy with the wind hitting me in the face. Because I installed a nacell head light assembly the windvest had to lean way back to clear the nacell. With it leaned back all the wind was hitting me right in the face and it made it uncomfortable to ride. I think with the stock headlight it will be OK because you will be able to stand the winshield up more to deflect the wind.
It really is a very well made unit. I will try and attach some pictures.
