Well I guess I did save some money when I fixed the squeaking insulator on my old RoadKing by pushing in a penny between the mounting plate and insulator.  Road it for another year that way before I sold it.

Found the auxiliary switch plug (under the seat).

Fixed the dead battery tender pigtail (P.O. did not hook the ground back up).

Moved the battery tender pigtail away from the exhaust. Discovered it has a built in protective cover. Tucked it between the oil fill and starter.

Well I took the freshly rebuilt CVO road glide for an 80 mile ride.  Seems as good as ever.

Hi Fellas, Haven't posted for awhile. I replaced the heated grips on my 09 SEUC. The grips had to  be ordered and cost  me over $500 bucks. Didn't come with any directions but I heard they are useless anyways. I have the service manual and the supplement which were very useful. I took my time and worked on it a little bit every evening for about 5 nights. Mission accomplished and they work great. As per my heat gun they reached 107 after about 15 minutes. Everything was pretty easy except for pulling the new wires thru the left handlebar side. That was a super pain but patience and tenacity prevailed. After I finished I realized a super short cut. Most of you know that the twist grip side is basically unplug the grip remove the grip and put the new grip on. Very simple. On the left side of course that is a different story. If I had to do this job again I would use the existing wires as they are the same color codes and there is enough slack to pull so that a person could snip them and snip the wires on the new grip, solder new wires to old wires and be done in a reasonable period of time. If you are going to tackle this you are welcome to email me with any questions. Best Regards CAHDBIKER

That had to be an expensive endeavor, but I'm glad it's in your rear view now Dave. Congrats!

Had these fork cartridges since 2009, they have a few miles on them. They were rebuilt once before by Traxxion 45k + miles ago. I took the project on and it turned out pretty good,  All that was required was a few cans of cleaner, new bushings for the tubes, fork seals and one liter of Maxima fork oil. I did buy a generic fork service tool kit too. I'’ve been very happy with performance and ride of the AK-20 cartridges.

Weather is still hangin' tough here in central Indiana. Took a 120-mile cruise before work today. 250 more miles will make 43,000 on the year. That will beat my old personal record by 10,000 miles. 2022 was an amazing year.

EDIT: Sorry the images are so big. Not sure why it's doing that.

Rode the bike to town to get some touch up paint for the truck.  Weather was great, high 60s & no rain.  So took a ride from there until I got hungry, then stopped for a hamburger.  Well it was 2 burgers but who's counting.  After that took a ride with "no particular place to go" until I got to a particular place, then I rode home.  Might do the same tomorrow, except for the paint & the burgers.

Great looking RG, who makes the passenger adjustable pegs you have, does your wife like them and how tall is she?  Just asking, my wife gets a little restless with her feet on long rides and might like something like that on my bike, TIA

Thanks! Those are made by Kuryakyn: https://www.denniskirk.com/kuryakyn/gloss-black-adjustable-passenger-pegs-7059.p4902357.prd/4902357.sku?gclid=Cj0KCQiA4uCcBhDdARIsAH5jyUn-df3mic-PMKNi8-iCiVSCXQD3pfSXAyVDPJ-BGUIiUJ5t29e9gMgaAnyyEALw_wcB

Those pegs make a huge difference for my wife on long trips, she's 5'1". Just like how highway pegs work for the rider, she is able to shift her legs and feet into different positions to keep from getting sore. After buying these, all of my buddies in our long-distance riding group bought a set for their ladies. They all love em'.

Received my custom sized CVO stickers. A good friends of mine at Gladiator Graphics hooked me up. He's got a nice variety of products for the HD world.

Needed a small size to fit at the lower edge of my front fender. Hafta wait for a little warmth to put them on. 3 degrees here in Michigan ain't gonna cut it!
You can find him at Www.etsy.com/shop/electraglideapparel

Those stickers are nice.
Went to the web site but didn't see them.
