Hey guys,
My dads a big HD guy.  Got back into riding after I was in college with a white 2006 Dyna Superglide custom.  On a trip to Memphis, we went into a dealer and he saw a CVO.   ....That's when he knew he had to have one.
He ordered a 2011 CVO ST conv. in blue.

Absolutely loves it but wasn't happy with the wind buffeting.
1. first strategy was to get a new helmet + goggles if that was a cause....NO

2. second strategy was to get ST wind deflectors....NO

3. third strategy was a 7jurok 17" windshield....NO

So , since I'm a car nut and mod my 2009 John Cooper works Mini alot, I convinced him that the solution could be a retrofit, like the new deflectors on his buddy's 2012 CVO ST.  He really didn't like the idea of ANOTHER $200 and drilling into his bike, but I finally convinced him I could do it.

Finally after convincing him, I did some research in the "Ultimate windshield thread" yada yada yada.  I know how important follow-ups are on forums so i thought i'd document the retrofit so others can hopefully follow my lead.

Here's the bike with the front fork splitters.  **I know the windshield's not on**

You'll probably want the 2012 windshield also.  I tried the deflectors with my 2010 windshield and didn't like it.  The 2012 was a lot better.

2012 windshield and deflectors on my 2011 cut out most of the wind turbulence, you won't be sorry! Easy install just be sure to center punch before drilling mounting holes for deflectors.
