Title: Changing lifters in S&S V111
Post by: ltank on August 01, 2015, 09:26:44 PM
I have over 50,000 miles on my S&S V111 motor. I ordered new lifters. The original ones still work fine but the manual says they should be changed at 25,000 miles. I was told these motor don't have adjustable pushrods and rear rocker boxes gotta come off.
Is this true? Has anyone changed lifters in a V111 motor? I just want to be sure I got all the gaskets and seals for the Rocker Boxes if needed, so down time is minimal. Thanks

My 1988 Evo had 90,000 miles on the OE lifters, when it was stolen.

I think pre '92 EVO's were built better..... :)
