Title: Interestinger and interestingerer -- Not sure if this is a project yet or not
Post by: Twolanerider on December 18, 2015, 09:58:15 PM
Bought a full set of tins today from an Arresting Red FXR2.  Just a few other parts along with it.

Don't know if this will turn in to another vision quest like the set of red SERK tins became.  It'd be a fun project; and I do kinda miss my FXR days (damn that was a long time ago).  Wonder how much fun a good FXR framed bike would be with one of those big Ultima Evo motors in it.... Hmmmmm....   8)

I;m looking forward to the new thread on this build Don  :2vrolijk_21:
(as if its"not" going to happen now that you found the tins)
You have room in the shop for another Red Bike I think  :coolblue:

Last night I would certainly have agreed with you Marty. But got a message this morning from an FXR owner offering four times more than I paid for the parts so he could have spares. Hmmmmmmmmm.

I know....  I bought the stuff pretty cheap and, of course, was immediately going through the process in my head of what they could become.  But for someone who already has one of these great old bikes to gather a few spares to enhance its lifespan is also a good thing.  Oh well, I'll decide first of the week sometime.
